Participants from the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, and Poland.

This training will first focus on the benefits of singing as a tool and methodology in youth work. How can we use singing to support self-confidence, foster positive self-esteem, and address other youth work priorities, such as teamwork, problem-solving, or cultural expression? Then, we will focus on the power and impact of “protest songs” and explore how singing can be used to promote democratic participation. Throughout the training, we will also work on personal development and self-awareness through engaging with our own voice. 

The course language will be English; it’s enough if you have a communicative level of proficiency.

The course aims to:

• discover the joy of singing and working with your own voice. 
• learn to use your voice as a tool for self-expression and boosting self-confidence. 
• promote active listening, collaboration, and dialogue. 
• explore possibilities for leading groups through singing. 
• explore the connection between music, active citizenship, and social change. 
• gain practical tools for everyday work with young people.

The participation fee is set according to your possibilities: students and unemployed: €75, part-time workers: €100, full-time workers: €125 – the price includes accommodation in shared rooms, meals, and the program. Travel expenses can be reimbursed if arranged in advance.
